Lavi x Reader The Noah (Part Sixteen)

The food in front of you was untouched and undesired. You balled your hand into a fist and gritted your teeth, anger rising up within you. Suddenly, you slammed your hands on the table and swept them across the surface, throwing the tray and everything on it to the floor. The milk splattered across the tile, the spoons and forks clanged together, the tray bounced and drummed against the ground, all in a symphony of anger and sadness.

You stood there trembling, breathing heavily with your clenched fists on the table, covered in egg and cold juice. If only you had went with him! Your jaw began to ache as you gritted your teeth harder, burning tears gently trickling down your cheek. You felt something surge up your body. Your innocence was angry too. The tattoos on your limbs had began to glow in pain. You growled and invoked your weapon. Without a second thought, you flattened your hands against the stained table, gradually turning it into a crackling ice. You turned your back to it and began to walk away with heavy footsteps, the echo of shattering glass bouncing off the walls behind you.

You walked down the hallway swiftly, cutting corners and skipping stairs to get to the infirmary. You had to see him, you had to know what actually happened. As you turned the corner, you saw a figure walking down the hallway in front of you, leaving the door marked "infirmary". As he lifted his head, his eyes widened. You began to walk faster, avoiding his gaze. Suddenly, he broke into a sprint towards you. "No! Kan-DAAH!!" He grabbed your waist and forced you back behind the corner.

You were shouting and pushing against him, but he refused to release you. He covered your mouth with his cold hand, his eyes angry. You froze, waiting for him to speak. "Turn around and go back to your room." He whispered gruffly. You shook your head and pulled his hand away. "Why? No, I'm going to see him, you can't-!" He shut you up once more. "No. You can't." You stared at him through your distressed eyes. Pressing you firmly against the wall, he released your mouth. "Stop telling me what I can and cannot do! The reason why he's hurt id because I listened! I didn't so anything more than yell at him to stay! If I hadn't of listened, he'd be alright!" You glared at him, determination taking over your mind and glazed over your eyes. "You will not stop me."

You shoved him with all of your strength aside, his face contorted into a look a shock. You began to run, rushing for the the infirmary. Heavy footsteps crashed behind you, reaching out for you, trying to yank you back. Your voice was rising, your eyes were widening. You were going to see him no matter what. The door was rapidly approaching. A man stood over a bed, holding a clipboard and pushing up his glasses, speaking words you couldn't hear. When you reached the open door, you felt something close around the fabric on your back.

"STOOOOP!!" You screamed. Suddenly,you were yanked back and pushed forward all at once. You reached your hand out as you fell, slamming against the floor. You groaned and tried to move, but you couldn't. Cranking your head back, you saw dark hair dangling above you. "Kanda! Get off of me!" You grunted, pushing against the floor. He forced you down harder. "Get her out of here, Kanda." You looked up desperately at Komui, his glassed glinted in the light. "Tell me what's going on?!" You shouted, your voice cracking. He turned away from you, his clipboard to his side. Your shivering eyes lingered around the paper clipped to the board. There was a red circle around a single letter. As you felt Kanda get up and begin to lift you, your eyes widened as the letter became clear. A bright red "N" scarred your eyes. Kanda threw you over his shoulder and started to walk out. "N-o... It can't be a NOAH!!"
